Pecking for his breakfast or whatever can be found
Along the little creek side he sings a lovely tune,
The Lullabye of morning will disappear quite soon.
Over by the babbling brook, the little bird does rest
His feathers gently folded beneath his bright red breast.
Pausing just a moment to thank the Lord today,
That he is safe and cared for in every single way.
A hummingbird with little wings beating very fast
Has come to say good morning, such a little task.
Right up to the window, looking straight at me
God’s sending little blessings that my heart can see.
This is just another way for God to let me know
That he has never left me the Bible tells me so.
The little birds are cared for, his eyes are watching them
If they fall he knows it & he takes them back to him.
He patches up their broken wings, teaches them to fly
Then he sends them back again soaring through the sky.
He does the same for you and me, when we sometimes fall
He mends the broken pieces, fixes hearts and all.
This is Gods way of teaching us, to trust in him alone
Someday when it’s over, we can find our way back Home.
He Loves the little sparrows, and I know he loves me too
No matter what, with Faith in Him, he will see me through.
